英語教育講義（2020後期）11月25日

 

Hi,　

    Today, I learned about CLT in the class. CLT means  Communicative Language Teaching. To be honest, I heard this word for the first time, but after I learned this, I had a interest about this method. Before the class, I watched the video : An Introduction of CLT which teacher Lavin and Koyo are talking. In this video, teacher Koyo asked Mr. Lavin that when was CLT introduced into Japanese education. I also had the same question. By the way, before, I had studied about the English education in Japan. According to my memory, the style of English learning in Japan dramatically changed twice after the WWⅡ. The first one is around after the end of the WWⅡ, and second one happened around the 1964 Tokyo olympic. Because of these events, Japanese people gradually noticed that learning conversational English is more important than learning grammar. Coming back to today's class subject, I think CLT is very important for us to enjoy learning English and output. However, we have to remember that doing only CLT isn't good for learning language.

     Hello:) I'm Mio. Yesterday, I took the first class of 英語教育講義. But I'm sorry that I couldn't participate whole class. Then I looked class files in Teams and learned about SLA. As already everyone said, I also surprised that writing to remember new words is not effective. For me, it is the best way that writing again and again to learn new words. From these facts, I thought there are several best ways to learn foreign languages for each. maybe, for me, there are different better ways than writing, so I want to find it through this class. 

One day

  This story is about five characters who lives near. All of them have troubles. Jason was unhappy because of her girlfriend's words. Nina is nervous for her career. Maggie is always thinking about one boy and her friend. Sam is nervous for his job and money. But one day, there was a fire. It changed there....


  I think this story is too much easy for us. So I want to try some new book.

  〝Superbird” was published by cambridge seriese in1999.　The main　character is not human. She is an alien. She was got in trouble on the way to the earth and crashed landing. At the time, there are 3 alive aliens, but the other two was killed by human. She was rescued by a woman who has blonde hair and the blonde hair woman was so kind. These two came to good friends. But it is time to go back to home planet....

 This week, I read " the man from nowhere". From the book cover, we can guess the story is about desert. In this book, the main character is a man and his wife and a son. They were on the way to Oman by the plane. Suddenly, something happened to their plane and three people in the plane fell off. They got injuries. The situation is desperate. Then, the man tried to call help in the desert...

   This book starts with one British spy's vacation's scene. Ian Munro was lying on the beach. but suddenly, his phone rang. It meant he had to go back to his job. For him, it's natural thing. His boss told him some missions and Munro starts his job quickly.  if you like suspense kind, you should watch!

  "different world" is published by ＣＡＭＢＬＩＤＧＥ　in 2006. The story of this book is about love of a deaf girl. Sam, a young deaf girl, falls in love with a boy works at fruit shop. Gradually, each of them came to love each other. They are very happy but one day Sam's boy friend appeared in front of Sam and tell her about boyfriend's secret....

Love is difficult but it's great I think.
